Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

WorksiteCam ("WorksiteCam," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our mobile app, website, and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details you provide when you create or manage an account.
  • Jobsite content — the photos, videos, voice notes, documents, comments, and project details you and your crew capture in the Service, along with associated metadata such as timestamps and GPS location when location capture is enabled.
  • Usage and device information — how you interact with the Service, plus device type, operating system, app version, and similar technical data used to operate and improve the product.
  • Payment information — when you subscribe, billing is handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service — including capturing, organizing, tagging, and syncing your jobsite documentation across your crew.
  • Generate the reports, exports, and AI features (such as auto-tagging and scope-of-work drafting) you request.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, security notices, and support.
  • Protect the Service, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • Within your organization — captures, comments, and reports are visible to the crew members and accounts you grant access to.
  • With service providers — vendors who help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting and payment processing) under agreements that limit their use of your data.
  • With integrations you connect — if you choose to connect a third-party tool (for example QuickBooks, a CRM, or cloud storage), we share the data needed to power that integration.
  • With our AI provider — when you use AI features, the content needed to generate the result is processed by OpenAI, as described in "AI features and third-party AI processing" below.
  • For legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

AI features and third-party AI processing

Some features of the Service are powered by artificial intelligence — including the AI assistant, voice input, photo auto-tagging and captions, AI-drafted messages, reports and suggestions, and AI image generation.

  • What is sent: when you use an AI feature, the content needed to generate the result is sent to our AI provider — for example your typed or spoken prompt, the photos you ask about or upload for tagging, and related job details (such as project names, tasks, and checklist items).
  • Who it is sent to: this content is processed by OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.), our third-party AI provider, under an agreement that limits its use of your data to providing the service to us and requires protections consistent with this policy.
  • How it is used: solely to generate the AI result you requested (an answer, caption, transcription, draft, suggestion, or image). Your content is not used to train OpenAI's models.
  • Your choice: in the mobile app, AI features ask for your permission before any content is sent, and you can turn AI features off (or back on) at any time in Settings → AI Features. Declining AI features does not affect the rest of the Service.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number, you may receive account, onboarding, support, and occasional marketing text messages from WorksiteCam at the number you provide, including messages sent by autodialer. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information you provide as part of the text-messaging consent process is used only to deliver the messages you have opted in to receive.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can export your data at any time.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address issues if they arise.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update much of your account information directly in the app, and you can contact us to make other requests. To close your account or request deletion, reach us at the address below.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
